Studio B is a 23' x 38' column-free studio. Like all the studios at the Mark Morris Dance Center, Studio B is fully-equipped with wood-sprung floor (with marley), portable and fixed ballet barres, a piano, and sound / video playback system with CD and MP3 inputs.

Each studio feels bright and airy, with natural light plus central heat and air-conditioning.

Other amenities include dressing rooms with showers and lockers, vending machines, two outdoor terraces, and two lounges.

The Independence Community Foundation Studio is an 18' x 40' column-free studio. This studio is fully-equipped with a wood-sprung floor (with marley), portable and fixed ballet barres, a piano, and sound playback system with CD and MP3 inputs. A TV and DVD player are available upon request. ICF is also one of studios approved for tap shoes. (The other is Studio D).

This studio is bright with natural light, plus central heat and air-conditioning.

Other building amenities include dressing rooms with showers and lockers, vending machines, two outdoor terraces, and two lounges.

The James and Martha Duffy Performance Space is one of the largest column-free studios in Brooklyn. It is fully equipped with a triple-basket weave sprung sub floor, covered with a Marley-type PVC dance floor, portable ballet barres, a Steinway grand piano, and a sound/video playback system. It is bright with natural light, plus central heat and air-conditioning.

The James and Martha Duffy Performance Space encompasses the 5th floor of the Mark Morris Dance Center and includes a small lobby (12'x40' or 480 sq. ft.) and bathrooms adjacent to the space.

The space converts into a 140-seat theater perfect for performances and can be set up for private events.

Other building amenities include dressing rooms with showers and lockers, vending machines, two outdoor terraces, and two lounges.

The Robert W. Cole Studio is a column-free studio, fully-equipped with a triple-basket weave sprung sub floor, covered with a Marley-type PVC dance floor, portable and fixed ballet barres, an upright piano, and sound/video playback system. It is bright with natural light, plus central heat and air-conditioning.

The Robert W. Cole Studio is located on the 4th floor of the Mark Morris Dance Center and is in close proximity to locker/rest rooms, a lounge, and a terrace.

Studio D is a 17' x 23' column-free studio.

The smallest of our studios, Studio D also has a padded wood floor (rather than the marley-laid sprung wood floors of the others).

Studio D is in a quiet location on our mezzanine level away from the traffic flow of the Dance Center.

It includes a sound playback system with CD and MP3 inputs. Ballet barres, a television, and a DVD player are available upon request. Without windows, Studio D is a perfect location for screenings and other events that do not need natural light. It is also one of studios approved for tap shoes. (The other is the Independence Community Foundation Studio)
